The Zephyrus Trio: Fast, Fun, Frequent

The Zephyrus Trio is an emerging woodwind trio from UCLA. They were recently selected as finalists in the 2018 Classics Alive Young Artist competition, as well as quarterfinalists in the 2019 Fischoff Chamber Music competition. The trios' debut recital will feature new arrangements of works by Beethoven and Stravinsky, as well as a commission by Nicky Sohn, "Fast, Fun, Frequent."

What if we listened to music with our tongue, feet, or skin? In this interactive event, we will experiment with multi-sensory experience of music. Engaging with a writing model from PEER Lab graphic designer Julliet Bellocq and founder Nina Eidsheim can help us relate to our senses more fully, and deepen our relationship with music and ourselves.
