UCLA Camarades (“The Music of Friends”) is the title given to the chamber music program that is guided and driven by the String Department. It offers superior coaching to all ensembles incorporating strings, from trios to octets, with a special consideration to the rich string quartet literature. UCLA Symphony

UCLA Symphony, our remarkable all-campus orchestra, presents its second concert of the 2025-26 season. 108 musicians strong, Symphony is led by graduate conducting majors and features graduate performance-major soloists. It draws its membership from every corner of the campus and plays to packed Schoenberg Hall audiences.

UCLA Horn Studio Recital

Please join us for the 13th Annual UCLA Horn Studio Recital, featuring solo works performed from memory by each member of the Horn Studio, as well as ensemble pieces.

Mozart Revealed

OPERA UCLA and UCLA Philharmonia team up to present an evening of some of W.A. Mozart’s rarest orchestral and vocal gems—-arias from seldom performed operas, orchestral pieces. Expect virtuosity from these two powerhouse ensembles for one night only.

Celestial Bodies

Under the direction of Theresa Dimond, the UCLA Percussion Ensemble performs significant and important works from the chamber music cannon.

Winter Saxophone Studio Recital

Join us for the winter saxophone studio recital featuring works by Garrop, Chang, Fauré, Bédard, Muramatsu, Quate, Komor, Desenclos, Creston, Ibert, and Ge performed by undergraduate and graduate students of Jan Berry Baker.

New UCLA Works for Flutes

The studios of Kay Rhie, Ben Smolen, and Catherine Gregory have spent the Winter Quarter composing, rehearsing, and workshopping new works for flutes.
