Ruth Buergenthal

BA Music History & Industry

Ruth Buergenthal joined the Troubadours in the Fall of 2020. She is currently a Sophomore Music History and Industry major with a strong interest in music production as well as music marketing. In her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, Ruth ran a popular open mic night for young musicians and taught elementary schoolers guitar and ukulele for many years. Ruth is also a singer/songwriter and electric guitar player. Most weekends, she can be found performing with her rock band around LA. Ruth is also highly involved in the Music Club as one of the social media managers. She is also on the events team for the Music Industry Committee (MIC UCLA), and is a member of the Alumni Scholars Club. Most recently, Ruth has also worked on the New Student Transition Programs team as a New Student Advisor for 2020 New Student Orientation.
