The Armenian Music Program presents its 5th annual day-long Armenian Music festival.
The fifth annual Day of Armenian Music, Arts, and Culture at UCLA will be a day-long festival spotlighting the depth and breadth of the Armenian Music Program through a variety of engaging events on May 30, 2025. The program will commence with a presentation and performance by Bei Ru, LA-based producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. The day will unfold with a Janyak (needlelace) making workshop with Sofi Khachmanyan followed by an Armenian dance workshop by Lernazang Ensemble. The day will conclude with a concert by Armenian Music Program’s VEM Quartet and the Armenian Music Ensemble as a part of the UCLA HASOM Spring Festival of World Music.

All events will be free and open to the public.
The festival will continue with a concert on May 31st at St John's Episcopal Cathedral featuring a new Mass by Vasken Ohanian, AMP fellow and recent UCLA DMA in Composition. Co-commissioned by AMP, this Mass will be performed as a part of Sacred Echoes concert by Laós Chamber Music.
