Back to School Night – Day 1

The Undergraduate Student Advisory Board and Graduate Student Council are proud to present the first-ever “Back to School Night” School of Music Showcase. Come see the first live student concert since March 2020, featuring 35+ performances from 70+ students from every department the School of Music has to offer, including a number of student-organized ensembles, several original songs and compositions, and some live premieres! There will be over three and a half hours of music packed into two days - showcasing the talent, creativity, and dedication of students of the School of Music.

This event is made possible by the David and Irmgard Dobrow Fund. Classical music was a passion of the Dobrows, who established a generous endowment at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to make programs like this possible. We are proud to celebrate this program as part of the 2021 - 22 Dobrow Series.

Like most of UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s programs, this event is FREE!  Early arrival is recommended. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. No RSVP required.

PARKING

Self-service parking is available at UCLA’s Parking Structure #2 for events in Schoenberg Music Building and the Evelyn and Mo Ostin Music Center. Costs range from $1 for 20 minutes to $20 all day. Learn more about campus parking.
