Music Industry Master Class with Producer Warren Huart

Warren Huart will share his insight, experiences and advice for a career in the contemporary music industry. Warren will join Dr. Caitlin Carlos (UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music) to discuss the changing landscape of today’s music industry and will feature a Q&A with the audience.

Warren is a British musician, producer, engineer, mixer and author based in Los Angeles. He’s best-known for his work on chart-topping, platinum-selling albums by The Fray, Aerosmith, James Blunt, Korn, and many others. He is the owner of Spitfire Studios in Los Angeles. In 2014, Warren launched the TEC Award-winning Produce Like A Pro YouTube channel, which currently reaches over 700K subscribers, followed in 2016 with the Pro Mix Academy. Both have become go-to destinations for clear, practical, high-quality information about all aspects of audio production. Warren is also a best-selling author of Home Studio Recording: The Complete Guide.

Ticketing

Like most of The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s programs, this event is FREE! Register in advance for this event via the link above. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event.  Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. Early arrival is recommended. Registrants receive priority up until 15 minutes before the event.

PARKING

Self-service parking is available at UCLA’s Parking Structure #2 for events in Schoenberg Music Building and the Evelyn and Mo Ostin Music Center. Costs range from $1 for 20 minutes to $20 all day. Learn more about campus parking.
