Khalia Byrd
Academic Advisor
ADVISOR FOR:
- Music Composition BA
- Music Education BA
- Music Performance BM
- Global Jazz Studies BA
Greetings, everyone! My name is Khalia Byrd, and I am a proud Bruin. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s in international development studies and a minor in Asian languages (Japanese). In my time as a student, I developed a passion for helping others. My passion has led me to this current position, where I get to serve the wonderful students, staff, and faculty members of The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
On a more personal note, my interests range widely, from baking sweets to reading and karaoke. Lately, I have enjoyed beading charms and bracelets! Please spare me from judgment if you hear me humming around the Student Affairs Office. I look forward to meeting and working with you all!
