With the launch of Women’s History Month, we began highlighting contributions of women to the world of music, providing the opportunity to meet with women in the forefront of their respective musical genres – classical to klezmer. These women offered insights into their creative genius, taught how to play and sing Yiddish songs and shared their scholarship.
These events were made possible by the Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience.
