Our intensives are taught by UCLA faculty and expert instructors drawn from the performing arts and music industry across Los Angeles.

Global Jazz Summer Intensive

“I enjoyed being able to play with great jazz musicians and the time in the recording studio was very special”

– Leo Rosen-Prinz (Los Angeles, CA)

“I got some great tips for piano and how much chemistry matters within a musical group and for all of us within the combo to be risk takers and really listen to each other.”

– Lorenzo Luppi (Burbank, CA)

Voice Summer Intensive

“I loved getting a feel for what a college music program would look like. I feel I gained so much experience and wisdom through the instructors, vocal lessons, and masterclasses. I also loved getting to know all the other participants and making friends.”

– Juliette Santos (Santa Clarita, CA)

“I thoroughly enjoyed being able to work with dedicated and kind people. This being my second year participating, it kept getting better and better. I learned so much in all of the master classes, private lessons, and afternoon electives!”

– Sophie Spier (El Paso, TX)

Songwriting Summer Intensive

“I liked the diversity of the musical backgrounds and styles of the faculty and that each of them gave me unique feedback on my writing and performance. The program made me more interested in UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music. It made me even more inspired to do well in high school in hopes of getting accepted into UCLA.”

– Andrew Bramblett (Los Angeles, CA)

“I learned to collaborate with people and was introduced to the music industry in a way I have not seen before.”

– Eva Kroz (Walnut Creek, CA)
