The Office of Student Affairs offers various ways for students to receive academic advising. When communicating with our office and an advisor, always include your UID, program, and reasons for connecting so your advisor can best answer your questions.

School of Music advisors are available to support current UCLA School of Music students through in-person drop-in advising hours. Drop-In hours are first come, first served and a great way to ask quick questions.
Drop-In hours are held in the Office of Student Affairs (1642 Schoenberg Music Building) from 2 – 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
For Fall 2025 drop-ins will be available during Weeks 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 10.
