Tom Hodgson Named Hellman Fellow for 2024-25

Tom Hodgson, assistant professor in musicology, has received the high honor of being named a Hellman Fellow. In early 2020, the Hellman Fellows Fund provided an endowment to UCLA to establish the UCLA Society of Hellman Fellows which provides support and encouragement for the research of promising assistant professors who show capacity for great distinction in their research in the UCLA College of Letters and Science and the professional schools (excluding the School of Medicine and the School of Dentistry). The fellowship supports research and creative activities that promote career advancement and enhance the individual’s progress toward tenure.
