The Commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, June 15 at Schoenberg Hall

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Cap and Gown
You may now order your cap and gown and other important academic regalia from the UCLA Store. Order distribution begins in May 2018 on A-level Ackerman Union.

UCLA and the surrounding area get quite congested with traffic during Commencement Weekend. Please help your friends and family plan accordingly. Visit this page to
get more information about getting here via car and public transportation.   

The closest parking structures to Schoenberg Hall are Lots 2 and 3; please see a campus map for more details. We advise that you make parking arrangements
for your guests prior to the ceremony.

Parking permits may be purchased:

  • TBD

Parking permit types: 

  • $12 per vehicle – a (standard) Commencement parking permit; and
  • $6 per vehicle – a DP (disabled placard) Commencement parking permit for vehicles displaying a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)-issued disabled person placard or plate. Both the DP parking permit and DMV-issued DP placard MUST be displayed.

Disability Access 
If you would like to inquire about the services available to you for Commencement, please contact the Center for Accessible Education to discuss your needs and make your request. 
Accessible parking is also available for disabled and elderly persons near most venues in many parking structures and lots. All vehicles must have a UCLA parking permit and, if parking
in areas reserved for disabled or elderly persons either a DMV handicapped plate or placard or a UCLA Center for Accessible Education-issued identification card.

Drop-off spots may be much closer to many of the venues. Please see this page for a chart of drop-off spots and more information about disability access during Commencement Weekend.
