A Conversation with Warner Music's Tom Corson, Elissa Ayadi and Julian K. Petty

Kicking off this special edition of the LA Sounds Now event series on Monday, September 27, Inaugural Dean Eileen Strempel and Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (and multiple Grammy Award winner) Arturo O’Farrill, are joined by Warner Records’ co-chairman and chief operating officer, Tom Corson, SVP of Fan Engagement, Elissa Ayadi, and EVP of Business Affairs and Legal, Julian K. Petty, to offer their unique perspectives on the current state of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the music industry.

ABOUT LA SOUNDS NOW: EDI in the Music Industry + Still Waiting
Presented by The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, this special edition of LA Sounds Now integrates the Still Waiting speaker series, bringing together these two vital cross-school initiatives to offer a unique window into the current state of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the music industry. Co-moderated by the Herb Alpert School of Music Inaugural Dean Eileen Strempel and Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (and multiple Grammy Award winner) Arturo O’Farrill, the series will explore the intersection of EDI in the music industry through engaging conversations with industry professionals, artists and special guests representing the rich diversity of the Los Angeles music ecosystem.

PARKING

Self-service parking is available at UCLA’s Parking Structure #2 for events in Schoenberg Music Building and the Evelyn and Mo Ostin Music Center. Costs range from $1 for 20 minutes to $20 all day. Learn more about campus parking.
