The UCLA Gluck Woodwind Quintet features one of each of the instruments in the woodwind family–oboe, flute, bassoon, and clarinet–as well as the french horn, a brass instrument with a rich and warm tone, to compliment the woodwinds. Whether the pieces are familiar or new, audiences will be delighted by this unique style of chamber music.

The Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Performance Ensemble at UCLA continues its monthly residency at Sam First, a spectacular lounge presenting world-class modern and straight-ahead jazz dubbed “the city’s best airport-adjacent jazz club,” by the LA Times.
