Fowler Out Loud: Mariachi De Uclatlán

This year’s performance features some special repertoire for Día de los Muertos as well many well-loved mariachi standards. In addition, they will perform Mexican songs of resistance in recognition of the activism featured in the exhibition South of No North: Gato Negro Ediciones.

The City of Angels Welcomes Moscow’s Finest – RSO @ UCLA

The Russian String Orchestra performs professor David Lefkowitz’s “Zachor,” two works by professor Richard Danielpour, works by Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky, which are a testament to RSO’s Russian lineage, and Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklarte Nacht, a tribute to the composer for whom UCLA’s Schoenberg Hall is named. Conducted by Misha Rachlevsky.
