Tina Farris
Lecturer, Music Industry (Live Music Touring)

Tina Farris is a powerhouse tour manager, creative producer, and cultural curator whose decades long career has helped shape the global live entertainment landscape. With an impressive roster that includes The Roots, Chris Rock, Steve Lacy, Lil Wayne, and The Internet, Tina has made her mark by delivering unforgettable live experiences and managing tours that have captivated audiences across continents.

A proud alum of UCLA and a recent 2023 graduate of the prestigious USC Peter Stark Producing Program, Tina’s career began far from the spotlight—as a French teacher at Compton High during a period marked by cultural shifts and the tragic losses of hip-hop icons. Her background in education and her studies in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy provided her with a unique skill set in understanding human dynamics, which became invaluable in her transition to tour management.

Tina’s expertise extends beyond artist touring; she’s also made a significant impact as a producer of large-scale events, including Global Citizen in South Africa. As a creative force behind live television programming for BET and productions with Live Nation Urban, her work is characterized by a commitment to authentic storytelling and an intuitive grasp of audience engagement.

Known for her seamless blend of creative vision and logistical acumen, Tina has worked with comedy legends like Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart, as well as top-tier musicians such as The Roots and Steve Lacy. Her ability to bridge the gap between artistic ambition and logistical execution has made her a sought-after figure in the industry.

A true global citizen with a passion for the French language and a deep love for cultures around the world, Tina’s journey reflects her insatiable curiosity and respect for diverse perspectives. Whether she’s mentoring emerging talent or producing events on the world stage, her career is a testament to her vision, resilience, and a profound love for connecting people through the power of live entertainment.
